Position Overview:

As a Back-End Developer at Centrifuge Group, you will be crucial in designing, implementing, and maintaining the server-side logic, databases, and APIs that power our applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop scalable, high-performance solutions that meet the needs of our users. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and test backend applications and services
  • Work with databases and data structures to ensure efficient data storage and retrieval.
  • Write clean, well-structured, and efficient code.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of backend services
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and standards
  • Optimize backend systems for performance and scalability.
  • Identify and troubleshoot bugs and other issues.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in backend development

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Back-End Developer or similar role.
  • Strong programming skills in languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript
  • Knowledge of backend development frameworks and technologies (e.g., Node.js).
  • Experience with databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Understanding of RESTful API design principles.
  • Knowledge of web services, RESTful APIs, and microservices architecture.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies is a plus.
  • Understanding of version control systems, such as Git.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines

Location:

Abuja, Nigeria (4 days on-site, 1 day remote)

Salary:

N70,000 per month
